LODGING

There are multiple lodging options for this conference. Conference atendees will have the option of booking a room at the conference’s prefered hotel, The Brunswick Motel in Brunswick, ME or they can indpendently book hotles from a list of nearby options. Alternatively, atendees can stay in a residence hall on Bowdoin’s campus for a nominal fee included in the registration. More information regarding lodging can be found below.

Reserve rooms in the following way:

To book a room at our preferred hotel, please call The Brunswick Hotel at 207-837-6565 and let them know you are with the SCCA conference group. ($239/night, across the street from campus)

All other hotel reservations are indpendent of conference planning and will be charged at market rate:

Staying on Campus:

Whether you are looking for the authentic Bowdoin student experience, you just want to roll out of bed and get the day started at the conference, or you are looking for the most affordable option, we’ve got you covered. Enjoy your two-night stay in Cole’s Tower (the 12th tallest building in Maine—16 stories—how quaint!), just steps away from our conference meals and programming. Sleep in style in quad style dorms with single occupancy bedrooms and a shared bathroom. A linen package will be provided to each room that includes sheets, blanket, pillow & case, (2) shower towels, washcloth, and bathmat. If registering to stay on campus please select the second registration option with the $85 fee covering on-campus lodging.

Family Accommodations

We understand that conference attendees may bring their families along, which we do encourage, however, when reserving additional rooms for family members please go through regular hotel reservations (not the reserved block for SCCA).
