Anyone who has a relevant topic to share! We’ve had submissions from graduate assistants, career advisors, directors, employer relations team members, and more.
How are proposals selected?
Proposals are evaluated by the SCCA planning committee. Several key factors that influence selection include, but are not limited to:
- Does the proposal contribute to the overall diversity of topics for the conference?
- Is the focus of the proposal/presentation clear and well-defined and specific to SCCA members?
- Does the proposal provide educational benefits for conference attendees?
How long should my presentation be?
Breakout sessions are 50 minutes and Speed Learning sessions are 20 minutes. You should be sure to leave time for questions at the end.
Do presenters get discounted conference registration?
SCCA breakout session and/or speed learning session presenters do not receive discounted registration.
Do you offer single-day conference registration?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a daily rate. We value having a consistent feel to the event and the ability to truly engage with colleagues across the entire conference.
